Compliance Organization

Regional Compliance Officer (RCO)

The person responsible for implementing the Compliance Program in Brazil is the Regional Compliance Officer (RCO), who reports to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). Furthermore the RCO continuously instructs employees about Compliance Program requirements and also ensures that every two years management personnel commits in writing to comply with the Business Conduct Guidelines. The Regional Compliance Officer plays the role of being first point of contact when infractions are made to the Business Conduct Guidelines and is responsible for investigating potential Compliance violations.

It is particularly important to ensure that any person who communicates potential infractions be protected from retaliation. If the violation is confirmed, the Regional Compliance Officer is responsible for implementing the disciplinary measures necessary.
